We just completed a major educational project for CoEd Communications involving a slide presentation featuring approximately 100 custom colour illustrations (by Doodletronics principal Peter Cook), and accompanying teacher's guides and student study sheets for individual grade levels from Kindergarten to Grade 5.

Maintenance! Maintenance! Much of our time is spent simply maintaining and updating websites of current clients, both those we've designed and those we haven't: Book Doctor, Rachna Gilmore, Isaacs & Co., Deeth Williams Wall, to name a few.

Children's author Gillian Chan recently approached us about altering her website in its current form to allow her to add new material herself—while maintaining a site design created previously. We moved it to a WordPress engine, and updated the underlying HTML to current web standards so future design changes could be easily implemented. As well, her request, we added a new weblog section, and consulted with obtaining a new server host and an extra domain name.

Lara Huntsman websiteLest you think that all we do is design and maintain large websites, we do little ones too! Lara Huntsman is an emerging oil painter who needed a simple, direct site that could expand in the future. We built it in XHTML 1.0 Strict incorporating a Lightbox AJAX engine to show enlargements of her paintings, and a custom PHP tag to allow her to add her own News bulletins.

Isaacs & Co. logoIsaacs & Co. was a rebranding project for the best of reasons: the appointment of the senior partner to the bench, necessitating the renaming of the firm. Doodletronics created a new logo for the newly-renamed law firm, adapted it for the website we had recently built for them, and redesigned the firm's printed matter.

Deeth Williams Wall websiteDeeth Willams Wall LLP re-imagined their new site, and Doodletronics was asked to bring a pre-conceived design concept to life on the web in Dynamic HTML and CSS. This included dozens of legal publications and a database of over 5 years of bi-weekly E-TIPS newsletters (totalling about 1500 news items), now searchable by word, date and issue number.
